The July edition of the TenG@BG is in the books!  Going into the weekend with a not so favorable forecast we were still able to get all three $10,000 races completed.  Thank you to the racers that stuck with us and supported us this weekend.  Congratulations to our champions and runner-ups!

Friday’s race began with just over 220 entries and was paused during third round for rain.  After about a 22hr rain delay the Friday race resumed around 2:30pm Saturday.  Early Saturday afternoon the finals from Friday’s race was completed and Jason Lynch was the last man standing defeating Justin Clark in the final round.

Saturday’s race got started around 4pm Saturday and fortunately another afternoon shower skirted by us with just a few sprinkles and we were able to complete the 2nd $10,000 race of the weekend just after midnight.  It was an all Holly Springs Team final round with Jesse Bobo getting the win over Cody Graham.

We were greeted to a beautiful day on Sunday with no threat of rain and a little lower humidity.  After starting with over 240 entries in first round the finals came down to two local racers.  Jay Fox gets the win over Taylor Bowling in the final round.
