Workamping is a program that allows individuals and couples from all lifestyles and experiences to travel by do part/full-time work and as a benefit, we allow them free camping for their season of work. In this case, they camp from May through September for free (additional people not employed with Beech Bend are charged $50 per person).

Yes! Pay is dependent on position and experience, but ranges between $9.50 to $13.00/hr. For more information on wages and positions, please view the Workamper Brochure.
Camping is free for eligible Workampers. Workampers may arrive after May 1st and can camp for free through September 2025. Those not employed by Beech Bend will be charged $50 per person, per month.
We do not require a contract, but do ask that those who want to participate read and acknowledge our commitment letter, which explains expectations, guarantees you a position as a Workamper with Beech Bend, and pledges to arrive at our campground during a set date (May 1st, 2025), unless prior arrangements are made.
Positions available include ride operators, food service workers, ticket sellers, games operations workers, gift shop workers, slide attendants and lifeguards.
We do not currently have a deadline to apply to become a Workamper, but the sooner the better!

No. A campsite will be provided, free of charge. However, Workampers are required to provide their own camper/RV. Tent camping is prohibited.
