Thank you to all that came out and raced with us this weekend!
Friday was beautiful! 220 Entries made the call for first round and at the end of the day it was Chris Johnson taking the win in his dragster defeating Mike Illig in the final round. Hometown racers Rodney Collins and Jason Barnes both bowed out in the Semi-Finals Friday night.
Saturday started with a brief drivers meeting and vote on trying to run two $10G races Saturday due to threatening rain forecast for Sunday. Racers voted FOR two races on Saturday. Race #1 began with about 320 entries and finished about 7:30pm with a couple of great local racers to our area in the Final round. Randy Rice defeated Tyler Sizemore in another Door Car vs Dragster Final. This one going to the Door Car Side!
Saturday Race #2 went late into the night as predicted but finished shortly after 2am with Craig Richardson defeating Austin Slone in the final round.
Once again THANK YOU to all the racers that attended and for you cooperation in completing all of Saturday in a timely manner! A total of 1600 cars went down the track on Saturday and early Sunday morning!
