Blue Moon of Kentucky shines on Tennessee racers!
The 2020 Thanksgiving Bracket Bash was shortened to just two days with $10,000 up for grabs Friday and Saturday.
Friday morning began with heavy fog and cool temps but the sun finally came out and the race was underway! Over 250 entries made the call for first round and at the end of the day it was Brandon Frame taking the win over Edmond Richardson in an all Tennessee racer final round!
Saturday morning began with new entry time runs only followed by first round at about 10am. Last four racers Saturday included Carson Griffith in a shorty Dragster, Jody Davies in the S-10, Tyler Jarrell in the Nova, and 71 year old Jack Small jammin gears in his Corvette! Griffith and Small would bow out in the semis leaving Davies and Jarrell in another all Tennessee racer final round. As tradition would have it Jody Davies wins on the closing day as he defeated Tyler Jarrell in the final round. Davies has won the last 3 final Thanksgiving day races!
We would like to thank everyone for racing with us this weekend and all season long! 2020 was abbreviated for us like many other tracks but we survived and look forward to seeing everyone back at the track in March 2021!
